This Wildside charter sailing Kos to P{atmos captures everything Greece and Greek Island sailing have to offer in one week. The sailing Kos to Patmos charter is on our high performance Catamaran, Kool. There are many islands to visit along with remote bays and coves. Each island offers something quite different and unique. The itinerary we propose includes a mix of well known Islands as well as Islands that are virtually untouched by tourism. This means not only exciting activities, but a range of fascinating traditional island “cultures” to explore.
Sailing Kos to Patmos will give you the chance to climb Kalymnos (one of Europe’s premiere climbing destinations), enjoy the ringo or explore the islands with an SUP or sea kayak. There are chances to hire scooters or bicycles and see more of the Islands,you may also wish to dive (advance notice is required) while fishing, swimming, snorkeling and trekking are par for the course.
There are gourmet restaurants to discover, culinary delicacies that are sought across the Dodecanese, there are some fascinating home-made arts and crafts as well as archaeological sites, monasteries, tavernas, remote beaches, water canyons and much much more to explore! Patmos and the Cave of St John is one of Greece’s most important sites. And it is only a short drive to the Monastery which overlooks the island and Jimmy’s Balcony – where tehre is a cool drink a fantastic panorama and if lucky Jimmy to entertain you

Charters depend on prevailing winds, the time you wish to spend on sailing and your sense of adventure (all our charters are personalised for our clients). A sample itinerary of this fantastic Kos to Patmos sailing charter:
Day 1: Kos Marina to Myrties Pier Kalymnos. Dolphin sightings common. Kayak, swim, cliff top restaurants spectacular views Telendos. Organise a morning climb? Or Dive? We can also get the best motor scooters (for those licensed to ride) to explore further afield
Day 2: Via Emborio Bay to Panteli Leros. Anchor in the harbour; swim, kayak, dinghy to seafood tavernas on the water’s edge
Day 3: to Lipsi via Micro Nisi (traditional Greek fishing village) we will gorge down some exquisite seafood, swim and dive through the rock canyons, enjoy the empty beaches, and maybe get some performance sailing in.
Day 4: Marathi: the least populated island in Greece which offers beautiful kayaking, snorkelling and swimming. We play Robinson Crusoe for a few hours of exploring then moor in front of either of the Islands two restaurants.
Day 5: Sail to Patmos, an island with immense history. Sites include ‘The Cave of the Apocalypse’ as well as ‘Chora’, the 11th century monastery or castle of Patmos. Once we have had enough site seeing, Jimmy’s balcony is the place to watch the sunset across the main harbour of Skala. A fish and lamb restaurant near the harbour that is second to none. There is also the opportunity to visit the beaches Mebi and Grikos with its tavernas and dunes, and a few kilometres further north is the famous Pebble Beach with its famous multicoloured pebbles.
Day 6: Sail back to Leros or Emporio Bay, Kalymnos for island exploring, climbing, kayaking, cycling or just relaxing
Day 7: Return to Kos Marina via Pserimos.
Standard trips are one week but shorter or longer trips can be arranged. Our sea kayaks, sea doos, snorkelling and fishing gear are available on all trips.
The cost for a week in mid summer is €4,800 for up to 6 guests (or around €800 per guest per week). Cost includes skipper, fuel and VAT but does not include your food and drink. Lower prices outside of peak season can be negotiated.
